Thank You for Being Part of Our Fika Story

It all began 32 years ago, with our children running around the kitchen and life unfolding around the table. In those everyday moments—sharing meals, warm drinks, and conversation—we learned the importance of slowing down and being present, a lesson passed down to Holly from her grandmothers through the simple ritual of Fika.

As our children grew, so did those traditions. They became adults, married into wonderful families, and our home filled once again with celebration and joy. Wanting to share something meaningful, we created a small gift from the heart for family and friends. One year ago, that gift became Fika Spice.

What began as a simple gesture quickly grew through encouragement and community. With support from friends, guidance from an amazing chocolatier, and the warm welcome of our farmers market families—Spooner, Hayward, Lindström, Madison MN, Green Bay, Duluth, Barron, St. Croix and Shell Lake—Fika Spice found its place in kitchens near and far.

Fika Spice has always been about more than a blend. It’s about creating a pause in the day, taking care of yourself, and sharing something good with the people you love. From grandparents who cherished sweet treats and good coffee, to us now teaching our grandchildren how to Fika, this ritual continues to grow.
